Head is impressive at 3 fingers and thin white.
Head retention is good.
Lacing is present.
Color is hazy and golden.
Legs are thin.
Smell- 22/25
Banana, clove, belgian yeast, honey and black pepper.
Feel- 25/25
Body is medium
Carbonation is high, sharp and crisp. Pour slowly so it doesn’t overflow.
Taste- 22/25
The taste follows the smell, complex spiciness with strong clove and black pepper.
Middle transforms to banana and yeast.
Finishes sweeter with hints of apple.
Although it has 8.5 % alcohol, it is not at all overpowering.
Overall-
For the price, it is one of the best Belgian ales around.
